I'm writing to invite you to my free newsletter: The Science of Explanation. Here's why I think you'll find it fascinating:

The biggest challenge of explanation is invisibility. We can’t see what’s happening in someone else’s mind or how they interpret what we say. For most of human history, that gap was unavoidable. Today, brain science is revealing the invisible processes of the mind and how it turns information into knowledge.

I’ve been studying this subject for eighteen months and became fascinated by a simple but powerful idea: by understanding the human mind, we can become more effective explainers.

This represents a new frontier for Common Craft. For years, we relied on experience and observation to teach what works. Science adds a new layer. It helps explain why explanations succeed or fail, and why the same message can land differently from one mind to another. Now, I’m inviting you to explore this with me.
